Participant Mark Mitchell said he is learning a lot about how the state actually works and hearing a large diversity of viewpoints. He said it is difficult to work through the issues, but he hoped things would eventually come into focus. Watch

Participants at What's Next California spent all of Saturday morning learning about and discussing California's unique legislative system. There are no simple answers, but plenty of thoughtful discussion and debate between Californian citizens. Watch

Todd discusses how he wants to bring a community view to the deliberative poll discussion and encourage all participants to get involved. His hopes are that people will think in a bipartisan manner in this discussion. Watch
